INDIA
We would like to inform you that new visa fees have been settled by the Consulate of India. It will take effect beginning the 10th of December 2009.



For tourist visa it will be 50€ + 21€

For Business visa:

- For Belgian citizens + European citizens (do not include France, UK, Ireland, Poland) : 94€ + 21€

- France: 194€ + 21€

- UK: 182€ + 21€

- Australia: 252€ + 21€

- Ireland: 235€ + 21€

- New Zealand: 153€ + 21€

- Ecuador: 282€ + 21€

- Ukraine: 235€ + 21€

- Czech Republic: 223€ + 21€

- Iran: 323€ + 21€

- Nigeria: 340€ + 21€

- Philippines: 257€ + 21€

- Poland: 170€ + 21€

- Saudi Arabia: 252€ + 21€

- Thailand: 235€ + 21€

- U.A.E.: 487€ + 21€

LYBIA
Please note that as from today, 04/08/2009, all visa request for Lybia has to be done by the applicant itself until new order from the Consulate.


CHINA
Please note that as from the 08th of May 2009, the delay to obtain a Chinese visa is now 7 working days!
Express procedure (same day and 24 hours) and urgent procedure (48 hours) do not exist anymore.

The Chinese Consulate have advised they will not issue visas to anyone who has been to the following countries in the 7 days before they apply for a visa:

Mexico
USA
Canada
Spain ]b



RUSSIA
As from now, the Russian Consulate has added new rules regarding the Travel insurance:
A letter from the insurance company is now needed, on which it has to be mentionned the following information:
- the name of the traveller
- the validity of the insurance must cover all the period of the visa (example: if it is a 6 months multiple entry, the insurance must cover the traveller for 6 months)
- the following sentence must be in the insurance letter: b[this insurance covers the traveller in Russia
